PVC ESD – Antistatic Polyvinyl chloride
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is classified as belonging to the group of amorphous thermoplastics. Generally, PVC-u, i.e. rigid PVC is used in the production of plastic pipes and profiles as well as plastic sheets. PVC convinces through its high resistance to most acids, plus alcohol, gasoline, lubricants and grease. ESD PVC has a low flammability rate through a relatively high proportion of chlorine. ESD PVC comply with the international UL 94 V-0 fire protection classification. ESD PVC plates are especially suited for thermal processing (forming and bending). Available in a Hard Coat version, resistant against organic solvents, such as acetone.
