Description

VOTAFILM® 2646 is a special thermal resistant PET-film, coated with a thin silicone coating on both sides. VOTAFILM® 2646 has high tensile strength and edge tear resistance and shows excellent separation properties, is easy removable, without residues. VOTAFILM® 2646 has a low shrinkage rate up to 180°C.

Application

VOTAFILM® 2646 can be used as release film in the curing process of thermosetting resins. Due to good

thermal resistance and separation properties VOTAFILM® 2646 is suitable up to 180° C. It can substitute

PTFE-film up to 180° C in a very economical manner. If VOTAFILM® 2646 is exposed long time to Epoxy

Anhydride resin, release properties may alter.

Format

Rolls: 670 mm wide. Tapes 40 mm wide.

Storability

VOTAFILM® 2646 can be stored unlimited under normal conditions (20° C, 50 % r. h.).
