Description

FEINMICAGLAS® 2128 is a four-ply insulating tape consisting of mica paper, unidirectional glass threads as longitudinal reinforcement and PET-film on both sides of the tape. A special modified acrylic resin is used as a binder. FEINMICAGLAS®2128 is highly flexible. This flexibility allows taping of small bends and difficult shapes.

Application

FEINMICAGLAS® 2128 is especially suitable for the taping of overhangs and connections of low or high voltage machine coils with small bends.

Formats

Rolls: maximum width 980 mm

Tapes: from 10 mm width upward

Standard width: 15, 20 and 25 mm

Storability

At normal storage conditions (20 °C. 50 % r. h.) FEINMICAGLAS® 2128 generally has an unlimited shelf life. However at very long storage periods there could be a tendency to slight loss of pliability.
